Ubisoft announces alpine sports game Steep
Essentially, you can pick a drop zone in the Alps, and then make your way down however you so choose. If you fly solo, you can take on a series of challenges like Big Air, Proximity Flying or Forest Slaloms to prove to the rest of the world you’re not to be trifled with. Ubisoft released the first two trailers for the game, and it is gorgeous, both visually and aurally.

Ubisoft reveals a new intellectual property named Steep, a game that allows players to record stunts and crashes in a winter sport environment.
What was also made clear from all the footage of the game was the fact that it was visually stunning and spectacular all round, Ubisoft wanting to showcase the graphical capabilities of the game throughout.
And that’s the story behind the new Steep IP.

Steep became a passion project for Ubisoft’s Annecy Studio, which specializes in multiplayer games. With the genre being nearly as big as gaming as YouTube, he felt like the game was a natural progression for the studio. Steep will be available this December, bringing extreme mountain sports to a PC, PlayStation 4, or Xbox One system near you. “Everyone we’ve shown Steep wants VR, and I have nothing more to add to that answer”, Manceau said when asked about VR capabilities.
