Ubisoft CEO says Nintendo NX will bring back casuals

The verdict? It’s “really great”. We should expect Nintendo to release it in March 2017, which means we should see the company unveil it in the coming months leading up to the holiday season.

Yesterday, during a quarterly earnings call (via IGN), Guillemot spoke up about the upcoming Nintendo console.

Going one step further, the mega-publisher is confident that it can replicate the sales success of its forebear, too, potentially going on to become of Ubisoft‘s best-selling titles in history. Sadly, the Wii U failed to repeat this tactic.

That’s because Nintendo’s current console, the Wii U, has not sold almost as well as was initially expected.

Ubisoft was the biggest third party supporter of the Wii when it launched.

A major CEO in the video game world has seen Nintendo’s new console, codenamed “NX”.

Though the Nintendo NX has not been revealed, Nintendo has spent over a year openly talking about its existence. The more we hear how “unique” it is, the more our imaginations wander.
