UCF DB Chris Williams shot early Saturday morning | Dr. Saturday
University of Central Florida defensive back Chris Williams was shot outside an Orlando hookah bar early Saturday morning, reports WFTV. His injuries aren’t considered life-threatening and a spokesperson told the Sentinel that coach George O’Leary was aware of what happened and had been in communication with Williams’ mother. Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call the Orange County Sheriff’s Office or Crimeline. Williams took to Facebook to provide an update on his status as well, saying he had been shot in the arm twice. He has also remained active on his Twitter, retweeting tweets that wish him well.

Williams spent last season as a member of UCF’s scout team, using a redshirt year as a true freshman. “We are lucky nobody got killed”.
