UCLA Bruins Crush Arizona Wildcats 56-30
For the second straight week freshman quarterback Josh Rosen struggled, throwing for just 106 yards with a TD and three picks on 11-of-23 passing. The Bruins dropped Arizona, 56-30, as Rosen completed 19-of-28 passes for two touchdowns and no interceptions. Cal will be looking to continue their hot start to the season and show that they are a force to be reckoned with.

That’s not how you play good fundamental defense.
Arizona: LB Scooby Wright. They were helped by three turnovers, and Arizona’s best chance to keep pace was lost early in the second quarter, when sophomore quarterback Anu Solomon left after taking a hit to the head.
He is the type of quarterback who needs to get warmed up and has often found his groove in the second half of past games.
Saturday, junior running back Paul Perkins followed up his 219-yard rushing effort against BYU with another career day, rushing for 85 yards and a career high three touchdowns on 24 carries.
The Bruins never gave it back.
Cerda gave the Bruins a ninth-minute lead, finishing a Zoey Goralski through ball, and then it was up to Schechtman to hold down the Ducks (3-6-0).
Wilson, a former four-star prospect, was recruited by everybody and their grandmother in 2012 before signing with the Wildcats.
The blowout losses by Arizona and Arizona State hours apart Saturday night were ugly. In receiving, Jordan Payton had 59 yards and one touchdown in four receptions. “They were a good football team, and a talented and athletic team like I expected”, a somewhat dejected Arizona coach Rich Rodriguez said. “We need to play things with more exactness”. There was still 3:08 left in the first half. He has what it takes to be a top quarterback, but is he simply not there yet? At halftime, Rodriguez told ABC Sports that Solomon likely wouldn’t return.
In three games of part-time duty, Jerrard Randall proved that he’s capable of running a college offense.
“I like horses, but I love cats”, Corso said. “We linked up the way we didn’t link up last week There are times when I play bad, but usually turnovers aren’t my problem”. Given the way that Georgia’s seasons have gone under Mark Richt, however, we won’t be surprised if Georgia Tech gets the win to spoil Georgia’s season. Granted, Saturday’s win was a 35-28 nail-biter over Purdue, and the previous was a 48-27 win over Maryland, but those are resume builders Bowling Green will take. Arizona takes the ball down and scores on us.
This has the making of a shootout so we are leaning betting the over 65 in this one. The two had already met during their times at Penn State and West Virginia respectively.
Receiver David Richards has 14 catches for 203 yards and 3 touchdowns. The Wildcats reached UCLA’s 3 on the next drive, but went backward and settled for Casey Skowron’s 44-field goal. The two teams then traded touchdowns in the fourth quarter for the final result.
“We don’t respond to anyone else’s expectations”, said Mora. “We will come back tomorrow and look at the film and correct everything”. Bolu Olorunfunmi and Soso Jamabo will also get some carries.

Face it, when it was announced this week that linebacker Myles Jack was lost for the season because of a knee injury, many folks thought it was the meniscus on the Bruins’ season that had been torn. He finished with seven tackles. That says one thing: that Randall is more comfortable – and certainly more dangerous- on the ground. “It’s still his first game, and he’s still working himself back into shape”.
