UCLA LB Myles Jack Drafted at #36 by the Jacksonville Jaguars
It’s the first time since 2006 that the Terrapins had two players drafted in the top 70 picks.

The knee proves to be a major concern as the Bruins versatile linebacker falls all the way into the second round of the draft. It’s also the biggest mystery in pro sports.
“It was, honestly, humiliating”, Jack said.
No one expected Smith to be taken ahead of Jack but when the Jerry Jones is on the board, you know he’s going to do something insane. So we don’t know his reaction to the pick. He’ll be a heck of a player in Jaguars coach Gus Bradley’s defense.
The Raiders, who had recently worked out Jack for more than two hours and were also closely linked with him in pre-draft buzz, also ended up passing.
Jack tore his meniscus last September missing most of his 2015 junior season.
“I love the mindsets of the guys we are bringing in”, Bradley said.
A further investigation of the Jags defense looks at what the Jags needs are on that side of the ball.
Jamaal Jones is yet to be drafted, but remains on the NFL’s prospect board. “We’re very excited about him as an edge rusher”. There has been some late momentum that the Jags could have Floyd high on their board.
Among the other consensus first-rounders who slipped were Alabama’s A’Shawn Robinson and Reggie Ragland. Jack is the prototype for today’s linebacker, where the ability to make plays from sideline to sideline is critical.
Reynolds must work out his required service obligation with the Naval Academy in order to begin his National Football League career in 2016.
Jack is an absolute stud and if healthy, a linebacker that can stay on the field in obvious passing situations.
For right now, Jack is ready to play at the next level.

“I would understand if I fell”, Jack said, although he was so dejected at not going in the first round that he had departed draft headquarters in Chicago before the second round began on Friday. If he’s going to be worth the No. 32 pick-essentially a first rounder because the Patriots forfeited their selection, you’ve got to clear some basic hurdles entering draft day.
