UFC 193: Holly Holm Says Rematch With Ronda Rousey Makes Sense…
Holly Holm pulled off a stunning upset victory over Ronda Rousey in UFC 193, stopping the women’s bantamweight champion in the second round with a powerful kick to the head in Melbourne, Australia. The “Rowdy” fighter – often considered the toughest and most badass female fighter across the globe – has finally surrendered her unbeaten streak to Australian pro-boxer/MMA fighter Holly Holm.

“But it’s not going to go like that”, she warned to laughs from the crowd.
This weekend, EA Sports announced Ronda Rousey as the lead cover athlete for the upcoming EA Sports, just days before she suffered her first ever knockout.
An offer of a touch of gloves by Holm was refused by Rousey during referee Herb Dean’s instructions, but “The Preacher’s Daughter” got even quickly, sticking and moving effectively in the early going.
Rousey fell to 12-1 as a professional MMA fighter and lost her UFC bantamweight title at Etihad Stadium.
Ronda Rousey was taken for tests after being knocked-out in her fight by Holly Holm.
“I visualised if the head kick was there, to go for it. If it was there, I wanted to take it and it was there”, she said. “This is insane!” Holm said immediately after the fight.
“I had so much love and support I just thought, ‘How can I not do this?'” Holm said. It looked like all the time watching film and training hard in the gym paid off for Holm, as she stuck to her strategy and slayed Goliath.
It was Rousey’s first defeat in 13 bouts and leaves Holm undefeated in the mixed martial arts sport with a 10-0 record.

“Obviously, she’s completely bummed out and depressed”, UFC President Dana White told MMA Fighting of the former champ.
