UFC 193: Ronda Rousey Announces She’s “Taking a Bit of Time”
Rousey had shockingly lost to Holly Holm after being knocked out at UFC 193, and Mayweather, with whom her beef with is well documented, is asking people to give her a break.

UFC President Dana White said that Rousey was “bummed” and “depressed” about the loss, but said she would get a second chance at fighting Holm in a yet-to-be-scheduled rematch. “Rowdy” didn’t do a post-fight interview, and obviously, wasn’t on hand for the press conference afterwards.
“I think people can be pretty brutal”, Holm told TMZ Sports.
Rousey was reportedly knocked unconscious when Holm landed a hard kick to her head at the end of the fight.
Needless to say, some people eagerly took to social media to express their joy over seeing the brash 28-year-old get a reality check.
As for her comment about “my health”, she was hospitalized in Melbourne, Australia, after the fight.
Former boxer and new Bantamweight champion Holm, who made it 10 wins from 10 against Rousey, said a rematch between the pair is very much a possibility.
Taverdyan also now-infamously complimented Rousey for her first round, where she was soundly and clearly beaten. “As I mentioned before I am going to take a little bit of time, but I’ll be back”.
Mayweather then retorted by asking Rousey to call him “when she makes $300m in 36 minutes”, just like he did when he fought Manny Pacquiao in May.
“That’s not true at all”, Mayweather told Fight Hype.
“I thought Ronda would have more answers”. Anyways, I’m proud of Holly.
Mayweather and Rousey have long waged their own war of words, but none of that seems to matter to Mayweather now.

“It was just precautionary and that is what we love about the UFC, the UFC does a great job taking care of the athletes”.
