UFC 203: Analysts predict CM Punk loss and Overeem upset
On Thursday, the final pre-fight press conference for UFC 203 took place at the venue that will host the PPV event this Saturday evening, the Quicken Loans Arena.

Despite all the hype, (documented) training and tough-guy moves, many are doubting that Punk has what it takes to eke out a win in his first UFC fight.
As is customary after a major pay-per-view headliner, both the victor and the loser were interviewed in the Octagon by Rogan following Miocic’s first round KO finish over Overeem. Miocic, who is now 16-2 in mixed martial arts, continued to say that he plans to stay the champ for a very long time. But Miocic wasn’t going to be denied and was offended when he learned that Overeem had thought he tapped out.
Miocic, whose title in in May set off a run of championships in a city that didn’t celebrate one for 52 years, was in big trouble after Overeem caught him on the jaw with a short left.
The fights are available on pay-per-view through your cable provider, though it will cost you $59.99 to watch.
Werdum will first have to get through Browne before he can start thinking of a title shot, but he isn’t concerned about the Hawaii native who he beat him via unanimous decision when they last met at UFC on FOX 11 in April 2014. Once Miocic had Overeem on the ground, he uncorked a flurry of pinpoint strikes to Overeem’s chin that left him unconscious. I’m up for suggestions, so whatever they give me, I’m down with a second fight with Jones, who knows. Punk attempted to squirm away from his relentless ground and pound but once Gall had his back, the writing was on the wall and he locked in a rear-naked choke to get the tap with just two minutes and fourteen seconds on the clock.
However, it would likely be a better strategy for Miocic to try and keep the bout as more of a boxing match.
-Fabrício Werdum def.Travis Browne via unanimous decision. Meanwhile, a former bantamweight in Jessica Andrade has dropped to 115 pounds and in just two fights made a massive statement to launch herself amongst the women’s strawweight notables. I think I’m the better fighter.

The atmosphere during the title fight was spectacular, and if all of Miocic’s defenses can come in Cleveland, that would be great. “Doesn’t matter how many time you get knocked down, get back up”.
