As the next set of UFC bouts are coming, particularly UFC 197 and UFC 198, fans are already wondering whether a rematch between Holm and Ronda Rousey is being organized to be part of this year’s UFC matches.

Saturday Night Live landed the ideal dynamic duo for the January 23rd episode: UFC star Ronda Rousey as host and Selena Gomez as the musical guest.

Her Powerful Portrait: Prairie Rugilo is a 36-year-old semiprofessional Muay Thai fighter and owner of Girl Fight, an all-female martial arts school in Toms River. He didn’t announce an opponent or a date for Holm’s return, but most expect her first title defense will be against Miesha Tate, victor of four straight fights since losing to Rousey in 2013.

It’s hard to imagine first dance with Rousey going any better than it did at UFC 193, but the women’s bantamweight champion still wasn’t satisfied with her performance last November. While the honor is another feather in Rousey’s marketability cap, it also represents another sign that Holm’s line of thinking may be on track.

“Holly Holm will fight before she fights Ronda”, said White.

“I don’t feel that was my full potential”.

“The Instagram was captioned: “#instabooty if #2016 keeps going like this then I’m going to be one happy happy girl! By knocking out the the most transcendent figure in MMA, and arguably one of the biggest names in all of sport she stepped up to that level, however. Every fight is different.

In the meantime, Holm and her manager, Lenny Fresquez, are anxious to keep the new UFC champion from getting rusty. “I think people are curious to see how it will go because this is a whole new title fight now”.
