UFC Confirms Conor McGregor Has Been Pulled Out Of Nate Diaz Rematch
McGregor is now in a training camp in Iceland. “We’re working on other fights right now. We spend a lot of money with this stuff, and you have to do it, man”, White said. “Catch ya’s later.” The statement was followed with a tweet from McGregor’s coach, John Kavanagh, saying “Was fun while it lasted”.

MMA fans shared their reactions on Twitter in their masses, but many still doubt the authenticity of McGregor’s announcement. “Only he can answer that question”, White told ESPN. The event will be the culmination of the UFC’s 2016 International Fight Week.
Diaz defeated McGregor via submission in the second round of their March 5th bout.
One cryptic tweet, all of 13 words, from the verified Twitter account of UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor nearly broke the Internet Tuesday.
It appears now that the two sides are locked in a odd battle with McGregor, UFC’s top star, not fighting in a pay-per-view that is one of the most highly anticipated in the company’s history.
A story on UFC’s official website said: “McGregor informed UFC officials that he would not participate in any promotional activities, including a commercial shoot and press conferences”. The 27-year-old, known as The Notorious, also has lucrative sponsorship deals that include Reebok and Monster Energy.
White, who did not return a message from the Review-Journal, indicated the organization will attempt to find a new opponent for Diaz. But you can’t decide to not show up for this things. McGregor once notoriously said that he doesn’t fight for UFC, he is UFC, so this is consistent with his mindset. He tweeted, “I guess my work here is done I’m retiring too”.

Remember, Conor McGregor regularly draws over 1 million PPV buys.
