UFC: Conor McGregor knocks out Jose Aldo in just 13 seconds!

Reigning UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo has revealed that he was playing mind games with interim champion Conor McGregor following their weigh-in ahead of UFC 194 on Saturday.

Aldo promised to bounce back from the first-round knockout setback and said he would like to have a rematch against McGregor inside the Octagon. According to previously reported figures, once an event gets over 100,000 buys each fighter earns $1 from every purchase but that rises to $3 when that hits 500,000 buys – as UFC 194 nearly certainly will.

McGregor backed up all of his talk with his left hand and boy did he shut Aldo up. Jose Aldo vs Conor McGregor for the featherweight title could unify two belts if the outspoken McGregor wins.

“No power, just precision”, he said of his striking. McGregor leaped and landed two massive hammer fists before the referee was able to push him away.

Ahead of the fight McGregor said: “He is already beaten”. “There is no doubt now”. He envisioned his victory and was ready for Aldo from the opening bell.

The victory is McGregor’s seventh in the UFC and continues his undefeated streak since his debut in 2013. “Jose was a phenomenal champion”.

Also on the UFC 194 card will be co-headlined by a middleweight championship bout between the champ Chris Weidman and top contender Luke Rockhold. It thrilled the multiple thousands of fans who traveled from Ireland to cheer on McGregor. McGregor now has a money line of -105 to win.

It looks like the UFC and new featherweight champion Conor McGregor aren’t in agreement on what will happen with the 145-pound belt if he decides to move up to lightweight. It was no contest on Saturday, as McGregor was too fast and too precise for Aldo.

“I tore 80 per cent of my ACL (knee ligament) on the world tour with Aldo last time round”, he recalls. “It really wasn’t a fight”.

“I threw a punch and he came back with another cross and that was that”, Aldo said. “I don’t care what he says”. No speed, just timing.
