UFC: Rafael Dos Anjos believes he can beat Georges St-Pierre
But don’t fret, Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) is doing right for the upcoming Fight Pass event, which is set to go down on Thursday July 7, 2016 and will feature a Lightweight title fight between Rafael dos Anjos and Eddie Alvarez by rolling out the full vide for ‘Battle Lines’.

Alvarez is a former lightweight champion in Bellator and has compiled a 2-1 record in the UFC, including a win over former UFC champion Anthony Pettis in his last fight.
And don’t think for one second that dos Anjos will be starstruck by standing across the cage from one of the most dominant champions in the history of the UFC. “Of course, if he can make it (to lightweight), I’m here, man. I’ll have the belt”. But while Alvarez has suggested in previous interviews that he can use dos Anjos’ aggressiveness against him, the Kings MMA fighter scoffs at the notion.
“As you can see, he just knows how to fight like that (aggressively)”.
The lightweight champion could have stirred a much larger horde as the final fighter at the last event of the week if circumstances would have broken slightly differently.
“I’m very confident in the training [I have put in], in my work”. “I have a strategy and that’s why I’m a champion. I will do my job, go there and defend my belt”, said Mr. Alvarez in an global conference call the transcript of which was shared to local media.
“I think actually out of everyone I fought he’s the most complete fighter”, Alvarez said of dos Anjos. And this includes UFC superstar Georges St-Pierre, who is planning to return to the Octagon later this year, because Dos Anjos believes he can beat GSP. There’s a possible rematch with Khabib Nurmagomedov, who is the last man to beat dos Anjos over two years ago.
St-Pierre would certainly throw a curve ball at the current crop of title contenders, but dos Anjos is more than happy to face him or anyone else the UFC throws at him.
“Conor McGregor is (featherweight champion)”. It doesn’t matter to RDA; all that matters is that he’s defending his title and continuing to show that he’s the best in the world.

“He has not fought a guy like me, he has not fought a style like me, and the guys that have beaten him were versions of me – just not as good”. “I don’t care if it’s Conor McGregor or Nate Diaz or whoever”.
