UFO over St. Louis? Strange light over Gateway Arch sparks debate

I was sitting on my break just smoking a cigarette as normal and looked at the arch and the strobe light appeared.

Technically, the light seen over the Gateway Arch in St. Louis, Missouri, on Tuesday is an unidentified flying object, but is it from out of this world?

The incident, which was captured on film by IL man Chase Rhoads between 2:30 a.m. and 3:00 a.m. on Tuesday, immediately caught the attention of many.

Rhoads is not the only one who captured the mysterious object on video.

“It didn’t fly over, it didn’t do any of that”, Chase Rhoads, a cleaner at Casino Queen, told Fox station KTVI.

Rhoads said the light has him perplexed.

Neither the National Park Service nor the nearby Scott Air Force Base reported anything unusual in the sky that night, notes KTVI.

However, although the light has been interpreted as odd and otherworldly by some, others have a different view, suggesting the object was a Chinese lantern or perhaps a drone. After seeing the report, an employee at an IL park across the river from the arch took a look at footage from a security camera and also saw the same light. Ed Mazza at Huffington Post wrote, “It’s not clear what the object was, although it moved and hovered much like a drone”.
