After downloading the new app update, users will be able to press the Bluetooth button and ask either Siri or Google Now to play a song according to Ultimate Ears. Google Now integration offers similar capabilities on Android devices. The gadget will then relay the voice command to the connected smartphone, enabling users to tap into the music library stored on their handset or access streaming services such as Spotify, Apple Music or Google Play Music. No worries. Now just choose the next song or playlist using your voice. “Now, they can just say it to play it”.

The updated app is available today as a free download for Android and iOS owners of the UE Boom 2 and Megaboom. If you’re at the beach, for example, you might not want to risk bringing your phone near the water, even though the speaker you’re using is waterproof. The two speakers Boom 2 and the Megaboom will receive these features on your phone. UE also made the devices not only to access music but also for asking direction, sending text messages, and checks the weather.

The UE Boom 2 is one of our favourite portable speakers thanks to its rugged design, lengthy battery life, and strong 360-degree sound. The UE Boom 2 is priced at $ 200 whereas the UE Megaboom is priced around $300.
