David Wright hit a long home run in his first major league at-bat in 133 days. That won’t necessarily mean producing at an All-Star level (Wright did commit two errors Monday), but the Mets can use a little brutal honesty from the third baseman.

[David Wright’s back with a bang. The teams tied an NL record with 11 combined homers. It had been done four previous times, the last time coming May 17, 1979, when the Phillies beat the Cubs, 23-22, at Wrigley Field.
Wright, who has missed four months with a career-threatening spinal condition, cleared the fences on his swing of the game, setting the tone as Wilmer Flores homered twice and Juan Lagares, Travis d’Arnaud, Michael Cuddyer, Daniel Murphy and Yoenis Cespedes also went deep.
