Unbeaten Warriors March On As Pacers Subdued
The Golden State Warriors are now undefeated in 23 games in the 2015-2016 National Basketball Association season but they suffered a minor blow to their campaign after starting guard Klay Thompson was diagnosed with a right ankle sprain, which he suffered in their recent game against the Indiana Pacers.

The Warriors have won 27 straight dating back to last season, moving them level with the 2012-13 Miami Heat for the second-longest winning streak in league history.
The Warriors are 23-0, edging closer to the Los Angeles Lakers’ all-time winning streak record of 33 games set in the 1971-1972 season. It is easy to forget about Thompson because of all the accolades and the popularity Curry has received this season. Sadly, the Warriors have a different coach (the spotless Luke Walton) this time around, due to Steve Kerr’s extended absence following the complications of his two back surgeries. Knowing that put pressure on the Pacers to score, but settling for jumpers that clanked continued to compound the problem and soon the frustration and desperation mounted into a palpable pile of resignation…by the end of the first quarter.
Despite the latest victory, Curry was disappointed in the play by his team’s reserves in the fourth quarter and lamented the fact that Thompson appeared to hurt his ankle after being forced to re-enter the game.
The Pacers may get there one day, but they’re going to need a lot more cayenne. It’s a great feeling.
“It’s tough when we had an opportunity to (win), it was right there”, Lowry said. He scored a career-high 48 points in Saturday’s loss to the Utah Jazz.
“I call it the ‘Uh-Oh Lineup, ‘” Curry added. “We made that very clear that we’re going to give some other guys looks at that position to give us an offensive boost. All it takes is for a couple of shots to go in”.
Facing the defending champion Golden State Warriors, the game sold out forcing some fans to dig deeper into their wallets for a chance to get a seat to the game.
As for who would win a game between the historic Bulls and this Warriors team, Curry said his coach Steve Kerr, who played with Jordan, would not crown a victor. “This [Golden State] team can teach you a lot of lessons”.
Paul George scored 33 points for the Pacers. Andrew Bogut added 14 and 11 rebounds while Brandon Rush and Festus Ezeli finished with 13 and 12 points, respectively.
Paul Geroge carried much of Indiana’s offense with 33 points, but the All-Star guard made only 11 of 27 field goals while recroding eight rebounds and six assists.
Nets 110, Rockets 105: Joe Johnson scored 15 of his 22 points during the fourth quarter as the Brooklyn Nets held on for a 110-105 victory over the Houston Rockets. As impossible to reach as it seemed for so long, the Warriors simply look unbeatable. They scored 44 points in the first quarter and 79 points in the first half. George said he will use the Warriors’ record-setting start to their season as motivation.

George had 18 first-half points for IN, which shot 42 percent during the opening two quarters (21 of 50).
