An unclaimed bag was on Thursday found at the worldwide airport here, triggering panic.
Amritsar: A suspicious bag was found inside an Amritsar-bound SpiceJet flight on Thursday.
Sources said that none of the passengers had claimed the bag.
As a precautionary measure, bags of all passengers who arrived by the flight are being checked. Sources told TOI that initial investigations revealed that the said baggage belonged to an Indonesian Muslim women who didn’t board the plane after checking in at Dubai airport. “The baggage of Idinirinkarlina Btnanang has been identified and will be handed over to her, or relevant authorities”, the statement said.
But “nothing” suspicious was found in the unclaimed baggage, officials said.

SpiceJet also expressed regret to the fliers for the inconvenience caused to them due to the incident, it said.
