Undercover Israeli forces raid hospital
The forces handcuffed Shalaldeh and one of his brothers who was in the room, then shot and killed another brother, 27-year-old Abdallah, as he emerged from a bathroom, Shawar said. “As soon as they entered the room they tied me to the bed”.

Bilal, who was not detained by the Israeli forces, described Reuters TV what had happened. He had been shot in the head, the upper abdomen and the hand.
Vasquez said on Thursday, “We continue to oppose boycotts against Israel and any effort to delegitimize Israel”.
Shin Bet, the Israeli security services, produced a document earlier this week profiling the perpetrators of recent attacks, claiming their motives are “a feeling of national, economic and personal oppression, as well as personal or psychological problems”, according to a report by the Middle East Eye.
“They (Israelis) had their fingers on the trigger”, hospital spokesperson Bassem Natshe told the NY Times, adding that there was no indication Abdallah was armed and that there were at least 10 armed agents in the room.
The Shin Bet said its agents had arrested Azzam.
Before the crackdown, there was a weekly average of 78 Israeli army “search and arrest operations” carried out across the occupied West Bank in 2015, according to United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, however there has recently been a sharp increase in such operations.
After stabbing an Israeli settler, he was shot by his victim but managed to escape.
However, he said Azzam needed to remain in hospital as “some wounds were still in the healing phase”.
Indeed, the European Union deems any settlement constructed in the West Bank and East Jerusalem a violation of worldwide law; Israel disputes this. “This is a hospital, it is against the law to bring guns into the hospital here, even our security does not have guns, a hospital is a place for healing, and that has to be respected, but it is not”.
The violence is in part fueled by the occupation and the growth of settlements.
“The family of the person killed here may respond”.
The attack was the latest in a series of raids on hospitals to snatch Palestinians wounded by Israeli forces at protests as well as attacks on Israelis.
Media cameras also filmed undercover soldiers dressed as Palestinian protesters arresting rock-throwers in the midst of a heated demonstration, prompting Palestinian activists to publish online guides on how to spot Israeli undercover troops. Fifty of them were said by Israel to be attackers, with the remainder killed in clashes with Israeli forces.
Three of the homes are in the West Bank town of Nablus, and belong to the alleged killers of a Jewish settler couple shot dead in front of their children on October 1.
Doctor Jihad Shaoor, the director of Ahli hospital, told MEE that Azaal had been in critical condition when he was admitted last month and that he had since undergone a series of surgeries to remove nine bullets and reconstruct his windpipe and that he had been in hospital recovering at the time of his abduction.

Israeli officials, briefed that the decision was coming, were quick to denounce it. The foreign ministry said it was a political move created to pressure Israel over its settlements policy.
