Undertaker, a WWE survivor, celebrating 25 years at Survivor Series

WWE Heavyweight Championship: Sheamus © vs. Roman Reigns: The big story coming from Survivor Series was that Roman Reigns’ empire has not come to fruition. Roman Reigns defeated Alberto Del Rio in a thrilling opening match that not only moved Reigns into the final bout, but also set the tone for a decent pay-per-view, considering the circumstances.

The Authority starts the show and talks about how Roman Reigns missed his opportunity at greatness when he rebuffed Triple H’s offer.

This match inherently brings the light the problems that WWE is facing right now, be it by their own decisions or as a result of injuries.

Rusev attacked Reigns early in the show, setting up a match in the main event which turned out to be really good before Barrett got involved for the disqualificiation. The faces got the victory, so that fans could enjoy seeing the trio dancing in the ring together. Charlotte and Paige brawled outside after the match, and Paige locked in the PTO on Charlotte on the announce table.

Sunday’s pay-per-view is shaping up to be one of the most memorable Survivor Series events in recent years, thanks in major part to the celebration of The Undertaker’s 25-year anniversary with the WWE. Bray Wyatt will choose two members from The Wyatt Family to wrestle with Brothers of Destruction on Sunday, and in the match he might not even be involved.

Hopefully the Divas can put on an excellent match to allow people to forget about the horrendous, and offensive, comment Paige made, under direction from WWE’s creative division, about Charlotte’s brother Reid on Raw this week.

Goldust and The Prime Time Players defeat The Cosmic Wasteland when O’Neil hits Konnor with Clash of the Titus. Reigns will get his rematch at TLC, but The Authority will have other plans to make sure Reigns doesn’t get his wish. Most likely, we have two new teams pursuing the tag team gold. For the second time this year, a Money-in-the-Bank cash-in has crushed the dreams of Roman Reigns and, after putting his hands on the COO, things can only get worse for Roman.

-Tyler Breeze beat Dolph Ziggler using the Unprettier. After that Roman reign Looks Broken, both physically and emotionally.

These guys have been across the ring from each other for the last few weeks, but this still felt like a patchwork match that served as a quick fix for a Survivor Series nearly lacking its namesake. What’s next for the Wyatt Family after Kane and Undertaker sent them packing? The main question is whether this will be the biggest angle to be seen in WWE in the near future. Sheamus then ran to the ring and cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase. After this, I doubt we’ll see Undertaker again until “WrestleMania” season, a time in which will probably be his last go-round with WWE.
