If Pakistan is involved in the attacks in Pathankot where seven army men have laid down their lives, then in the interest of national security it becomes incumbent on India to curb these elements of terror.

In a statement to the Srinagar-based news gathering agency Current News Service, the spokesperson of the United Jihad Council Syed Sadaqat Hussain has claimed that Pathankot air base attack was carried out by “Kashmiri militants” associated with “Highway Squad”.
United Jihad Council is said to be a group of 13 terrorist organisation.
Seven military personnel were martyred at Pathankot in Punjab at the huge base that’s located just 25 km from the border with Pakistan. The spokesperson alleged that Indian Government and Indian media have been suffering from Pakistan Phobia.
After three gruelling days of the Indian commandos’ counter-attack to the terrorists who infiltrated an Indian Air Force base in Pathankot on January 02, the exchange of gunfire still continues with reports claiming that the number of terrorists may be more than expected. They allegedly entered the base in two groups – the first hijacked the vehicle of a senior police officer and used the auto to enter the base, which holds fighter jets and attack helicopters.
UJC comprises mostly the militant outfits active in Jammu and Kashmir.
UJC is a conglomerate of around 13 militant outfits based in Pakistan-controlled Kashmir.
“But it might be a move to divert the attention from the real culprit by claiming that Kashmiri militants are responsible for the attack”.

However, the UJC did not specify which specific group had actually carried out the Pathankot terror attack.
