United Kingdom next IS target, warns U.S. terror expert
Britain is the next target for Islamic state (Isis) terrorism, senior European counter terrorism officials have warned within the wake of the deadly Paris attack on 13 November that left 130 people dead.

The threat is reportedly being treated “very, very seriously indeed” according to the Daily Mirror.
Previous reports stated that Britain has called for an offensive against the Islamic State forces in Iraq and Syria, joining the French, Russian, Yazidi, and Kurdish fighters who are all under the U.S.-led coalition that aims to extinguish the terrorists.
The warning comes as RAF aircraft continue into their mission of bombing IS targets in Syria, which have initially been described as being “successfull” by the Ministry of Defence. They did not waste any time since the strikes began just hours after the vote was completed. By targeting the oil fields, they are damaging the ability of ISIS to generate money through the sale of oil on the black market. British MPs were told during last week’s debate on expanding airstrikes that seven IS terror plots in the United Kingdom had been foiled in the past year, and intelligence indicated that the plots were being devised in Syria.
Intelligence acquired by means of European agencies suggests that an attack on an unknown place in the uk is the next target for IS (Daesh).
Mr Cruickshank pointed to the case of Aine Davies, a suspected associate of British ISIS terrorist Mohammed Emwazi, also known as Jihadi John, who was detained in Turkey last month. When he was arrested in Turkey, officials there claimed that “he was on his way back to Europe with attack plans from the ISIS leadership in Syria and Iraq”.
Criminology and sociology lecturer Suraj Lakhani – who specialises in violent extremism at Sussex university – believes young British Muslims are being radicalised by extremists in the UK.

Everyone reading about these things will want the United Kingdom to help in any way possible, but are we and should we really be willing to put our whole country at risk of such attacks, and jeopardise the country’s security by carrying out air strikes that may or may not be successful in the ongoing fight against terrorism. Terror attacks across the region have the entire continent on edge, trying to thwart the next ISIS attack before it results in more European lives lost.
