National Lottery did not confirm whether the victor has come forward yet.
The winning person – who may not even know yet – will take home a total of £61,102,442.
A ticket bought in the United Kingdom has won tonight’s £61.1 MILLION EuroMillions jackpot.
Instead of the usual single guaranteed £1 million prize, only available to United Kingdom ticketholders, there were five £1 million winners, who also each won a luxury holiday for two in Australia.
“We urge all players to check their tickets so they can begin to enjoy their life changing wins as soon as possible”.
Friday’s winning numbers were 01, 21, 26, 40 and 50 and the winning Lucky Star numbers were 02 and 04.
National Lottery did not confirm whether the victor has come forward yet.
Although a huge amount, the winning total is quite some way behind the largest ever United Kingdom win.
Euromillions began in 2004 and the biggest prize in United Kingdom history is the £161m won by North Ayrshire couple Chris and Colin Weir in 2011.

A year later Adrian and Gillian Bayford, from Haverhill, Suffolk, won £148,656,000 and had plans to splurge their new-found fortune on exotic cars and luxury holidays.
