Louis van Gaal received plenty of criticism during his time at Old Trafford after fans grew frustrated with the lack of excitement in his rigid play style.
Former United academy product Pogba impressed on his “second” Old Trafford debut against Southampton in the 2-0 win. If you don’t want to take it for some reason we are here, but you are the man.
Mourinho has won his first two games as United boss but Giggs believes that there is still a slight doubt in the fanbase over his defensive focus.
“I designated three – Paul, Wayne and Zlatan – but sometimes I like the players to have the feeling “this is for me”, he said.
“But we need to be fighting for titles and I think they’ve got a good chance this year”. Yes, I’ve scored three goals so far in the Premier League and I’m happy for that but it is only the beginning. You get this image of him that he’s arrogant and everything looks easy but he doesn’t play at the top for his amount of time without being a professional and without doing things right.
“The supporters at United are unbelievable and I have this feeling in every game that I’ve played that they are the 12th player on the field”.
“You can see in the post-match interview with [Paul] Pogba, they’re having a laugh and the spirit is there and you don’t win anything without team spirit”.

“I came here to win, that’s what I always wanted”, said the France midfielder who has gone back to his first club from Juventus for a fee of 89 million pounds ($116.35 million).
