Manchester United star Luke Shaw has the inner-steel to recover from the horror injury that has wrecked his season, says his fellow former Southampton starlet Jack Cork. The Mexican centre back has now opened up about his visit to Shaw after the game and has revealed how Shaw made him feel good about the situation.
Shaw has provided an update on his progress, posting a picture on his Instagram account, with the message: “Long road ahead but so happy to be able to put weight on my leg again!”
The Dutchman said: “He’s at least six months out and that’s depending on the development of the rehab, which you can’t preview”.
“Even the day after it happened he was positive and upbeat which I think for a lot of the players and staff was surprising after such a horrific injury, and when he returns to the training ground everyone will be there for him”, Ash told MUTV. I was just in shock. “It’s not easy but when I saw him yesterday – very strong and fantastic to see”.
“That was very hard at the beginning, but he was very kind to me and didn’t blame me”.
‘He had seen the images and said it was part of football. “Am pleased to be flying back to Manchester today so I can start my journey back onto the football pitch!”
