United States election: Obama to say Hillary Clinton never quits

“I was strong for Bernie, and now I’m taking a stand for Trump”, said another. And worst of all, it was Hillary Clinton who voted for George Bush’s war in Iraq.

In her speech, Clinton will need to find a creative way to tackle this issue.

Some Sanders supporters were skeptical of the grand promises made on the nominee’s behalf at the convention.

The tweets came as Clinton launched a pointed attack on Trump, questioning his fitness for office and questioning his temperament – both on and offline.

“He also talks a big game about putting America First”, Ms Clinton said while accepting the Democratic Party’s nomination to run for president in the November general elections.

He headed a line-up of speakers who attacked Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump. “And if there are any little girls out there who stayed up late to watch, let me just say, I may become the first woman president, but one of you is next”.

Trump eventually concluded with “no one has worse judgement than Hillary Clinton – corruption and devastation follows her wherever she goes”.

“Tonight, we’ve reached a milestone in our nation’s march toward a more ideal union”, she said, following an introduction by her daughter Chelsea, “the first time that a major party has nominated a woman for president”.

“America is once again at a moment of reckoning”, she declared. “Instead we will build an economy where everyone who wants a good job can get one, and we’ll build a path to citizenship to millions who are already contributing to our economy”.

She reached out to her top rival in the primaries, Sen.

He also struck an optimistic tone about the future of America, a message that Mrs Clinton is expected to continue in her remarks on Thursday. She put forth an argument that Democrats and her presidency would be a boon for the American middle class. When Khizr Khan, the father of a Muslim-American soldier who gave his life for his country, offered to lend Trump his personal copy of the U.S. Constitution, American politics gained an iconic moment.

The performances come in stark contrast to the previous week’s Republican convention which had few famous entertainers despite billionaire nominee Donald Trump’s boast that he would bring some showbiz pizzazz. “And to all of your supporters here and around the country, I want you to know I’ve heard you”, Clinton said. “It’s not just a choice between parties or policies; the usual debates between left and right”, Obama said at the Democratic convention.
