Facebook Patrice Price died Tuesday after her 2-year-old son accidentally shot her.

The toddler found the gun when it slid from beneath the driver’s seat.

Mr Price said she likewise had a more established little girl, and portrayed Patrice as “dedicated”.

Price’s father, Andre, told The Associated Press that the vehicle belongs to his daughter’s boyfriend. “I got a knot in my chest”. I know there’s some little boys down there which they put in a police auto.

Her father says he wants people to focus on his daughter at this time and the person she was. She shot through the seat, striking her mother in the back. Although responders performed CPR on the victim, it was to no avail, and Price was pronounced dead at the scene.

“We love her, we miss her”, Price’s brother Antonio told NBC station WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee.

The age of the child in the back seat hasn’t been stated nor the relationship it had with the deceased woman.

Deputies say the loaded gun apparently slid out from under one of the front seats before the shooting, and the 2-year-old boy got ahold of it, the newspaper reports.

Price reported her Nissan vehicle stolen about 9 a.m. Friday near N. 12th St. and W. North Ave. and officers have not recovered it or made any arrests, a Milwaukee police spokesman said Wednesday.

The two-year-old boy and his one-year-old sibling were both sitting at the back of the auto without a vehicle seat, according reports.

This 26-year-old wasn’t that lucky, and thanks to the negligent actions of whoever left that gun where those children could access it, one of them is now an accidental killer.
