Unity compassion while dealing with kashmir modi

Asserting that the inputs from citizens are enriching, Prime Minister Modi said, he met some contributors of Mann Ki Baat during the recent Town Hall programme in the national capital.

However, we still have a long way to go when it comes to sports.

He also lauded P Gopichand for his efforts as a teacher, as a result of which Sindhu won a medal in the Olympics.

Remembering Dr Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan, PMModi paid respects to all his teachers. “Handwriting adds vast respect to one’s personality”.

The PM urged students to upload pictures with teachers on the Narendra Modi App to celebrate Teacher’s day.

Speaking about Mother Teresa’s canonisation at the Vatican scheduled to take place on September 4, Modi hailed the saint, stating that her life was dedicated to working for the poor. “A delegation led by Sushma Swaraj will be headed to witness the historic event”.

Since largely celebrated festival of Ganesh Utsav has been arriving, PM Modi, today addressed people on environmental issues. Some even asked for a toilet as their birthday gift. PM Modi said, “Lord Ganesha is worshipped as the remover of obstacles”. “The best of the entries will be awarded on October 2, on Mahatma Gandhi’s birth anniversary”.

On the ongoing violence in Kashmir, Modi thanked all parties for speaking in one voice on the issue.

“It is the view of all of us, the view of 125 crore people from a pradhan of a village to the Prime Minister, that if any life is lost in Kashmir, whether of any youth or any securityman, that loss is ours, our own country”, Modi said. “It is our responsibility to strengthen unity”, he said.

At the same time, he slammed “those people who push small children to try to create unrest in Kashmir”, saying “some day, they will have to give answers to these innocent children”.
