On Saturday, the black members of the Missouri football team, with the support of head football coach Gary Pinkel, announced they will neither practice nor play until Wolfe steps down from his position.
The prospect of a boycott from the university’s lucrative football team appears to have got the attention of both state politicians and the university’s board of curators, the system’s governing body. “We stopped listening to each other”.
The Mizzou football team would have lost $1 million if they had canceled the game against Brigham Young University at Kansas City’s Arrowhead Stadium on Saturday. A swastika was also drawn in feces on a bathroom in a dorm.

Already, at Chancellor R. Bowen Loftin’s request, the university announced plans to require diversity training for all new students starting in January, along with faculty and staff.
