‘UnREAL’ season 3: Co-creator on possible ‘redemption’ arc
The third season got confirmed just before the premiere of the Season 2. For a refresher on what happened last week, read my recap of episode 9.

As for what to expect in Season 3 of the show based on the Bachelor, Shiri Appleby, who plays the reality TV producer Rachel Goldberg, told Express that it would be “interesting to see a bachelorette on there or even a different show, something like behind-the-scenes on Survivor or something that totally shakes it up”.
Last week, Rachel found out about Coleman and Yael’s heated interaction, and got her revenge by placing a laxative in Yael’s food, forcing her to take an unwanted and unanticipated dump on national TV. We’ll see him being taken away by an Federal Bureau of Investigation agent, but in a perhaps not-so-shocking (as curveballs are constantly thrown on this show) twist of events, we may see Quinn put behind bars, instead.
Host Graham shows finalists Chantal and Tiffany James the diamond rings that the victor could receive. “It’s going to be epic”, Quinn says. “Distract them with sparkles”. Jay had called her by Rachel’s suggestion, and she and Darius make amends, confessing their love as the audience claps, Chantal and Tiffany are in tears and Quinn is rendered speechless, her cold exterior melted after all. She tells him their relationship was very “comforting” but they have to end it.
Coleman would have run away with this title alone if not for Jeremy probably committing straight up murder. Quinn watches and happily says, “Oh, you have no idea what kind of surprises”.
After what went on in episode six in Alabama, we didn’t see much of Rachel’s insane producing skills until episode nine’s fiasco with Yael.
Madison escorts Yael to the set. There was no mention of an unarmed Romeo who was shot by a police officer or of Rachel’s revelation that she was a rape victim at 12 years old.
Rachel brings Yael on board to reveal that Tiffany is sleeping with the executive producer after Darius picks Tiffany.
Quinn told both Tiffany and Chantal that they would be getting married to Darius, so they both wear wedding dresses to the event. Still feeling guilty, Rachel tries to apologize to Darius, but he calls her out for her “do-gooder, crazed white girl” schtick. He asks her to marry her. So it was nice to see her return and get a happy ending on a show where few people get that.
Rachel tells Jeremy that Coleman and Yael are going to the press and there’s nothing they can do to stop it. “And you’re ideal”, she says. Aww.

Coleman and Yael’s auto is revealed to have driven off the cliff, and Jeremy implies that he had a role. Meanwhile, Chantal and Tiffany talk to the crew about how betrayed they feel by the fact that Darius didn’t choose either of them. While Darius mulls over his decision, Rachel pulls Quinn away to tell her about Coleman and Yael’s plan.
