Unsafe wind chills possible throughout the Valentine’s Day weekend in New Jersey
Below-zero wind chill values are expected to continue in Milwaukee from Thursday night through Saturday, according to the National Weather Service in Sullivan.

A high of near 23 degrees with a wind chill of minus-2 today will plummet to a low of 3 tonight with a wind chill as low as minus-13.
Timing…the worst of the wind chills will occur Saturday night into Sunday morning.
A wind chill watch is issued when strong winds will combine with cold temperatures to create dangerously cold conditions for exposed skin.
“The actual air temperature will plunge to -5 to -20 Saturday night”, Haney warned.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind chill watch for all of Upstate New York, that includes Livingston County.
For Friday, there will be a 20 percent chance of light snow after 4 p.m., with a high near 26. Much colder temperatures ahead, along with the potential for significant snow accumulation this weekend.
SATURDAY: Partly sunny, with a high near 16. “The air temperature is going to be near record-low value”. If possible, avoid prolonged exposure to the cold to prevent frostbit and hypothermia.
This would be the coldest temperature recorded at TF Green since January of 1982.
“Never venture outdoors without wearing gloves, a hat and several layers of clothing”.

By President’s Day Monday, temperatures will moderate a bit, climbing to the mid to upper 30s by the afternoon. “Property damage due to frozen water pipes is also likely when temperatures get this cold”.
