JaQuan Lyle, now a freshman at Ohio State University backed up claims made by Katina Powell in a recently published book “Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen”. The foundation does fundraising for the university.

One of the players named in the book about Louisville’s alleged misconduct came forward and confirmed the allegations involving the procuring of escorts for recruits. McGee has not spoken publicly since the book’s release.
Former Louisville recruit JaQuan Lyle has confirmed the allegations about a staffer paying escorts to entertain and have sex with players, according to CBS Sports’ Gary Parrish.
“As we have noted earlier, to preserve the integrity of the review process, the university will withhold comment on any details until the review is concluded”, said University of Louisville spokesman Kenneth Klein when contacted about the report regarding Lyle.
“As I stated in the recent State of the University address, it is important that the university – all of us – stay focused on our day-to-day work of providing our outstanding students with a world-class education”.
McGee’s attorney, Scott Cox said in a written statement that the interview should have been confidential and should not have been leaked.
Patricia Keiffner, IBJ publisher, told Yahoo Sports that it had informed Louisville of the texts between McGee and Powell but did not show the texts to school officials. Head coach Rick Pitino has denied any knowledge of these allegations but he could be on the hook here as this all falls under his watch. “This is one of the premier programs in the nation”.
Things are going to get weirder in Louisville and all we can say here in Lexington is thank goodness it’s not happening to Kentucky.
“For the past 18 years, Tom Jurich has served as Athletic Director of an exemplary program at UofL”.

“Been a long time since we’ve been up to U of L to do a show”, Powell writes.
