Upcoming ‘No Man’s Sky’ patch will fix most issues

For the time being, Hello Games hasn’t committed to a release timeline for that patch, and likely won’t do so until early next week once the PC version is out in the wild.

While the PC version of No Man’s Sky has not been in our dedicated port reviewer’s hands long enough to form an opinion, early Steam adopters are already finding problems in procedurally generated paradise. The studio created a major update for day one of the space exploration title, to improve the overall quality of the product for players.

According to Daily Star, Hello Games exec Sean Murray mentioned that the powerful PS4 might provide an entirely new No Man’s Sky experience with better graphics than other platforms. While I’ve had luck playing the game with few issues, that isn’t the case for everyone. There will also be a patch in the “near future” to address some of these problems, as well as implementing a ticketing system for user support.

He encouraged gamers to recover from mistakes by reverting to previous saves and says gamers who’ve left their ship “somewhere inaccessible” can summon it “from landing pads or beacons found at most buildings or points of interest”. Lastly, the multiplayer game does not allow player meet ups. Some other players were able to resolve this issue by restarting their console. In the meantime, however, at least players can look for some more helpful bugs such as the unlimited money glitch.
