The game has only been released in the United States, Australia and New Zealand, and Nintendo has said launches for other countries including Japan – one of the world’s biggest gaming markets – are due soon. Despite previous reports, revoking the game’s Google access should not cause you to lose your progress, even before downloading the patch. The insanely popular mobile game has over 7.5 million users, but now has many people questioning their safety after a close-up look at the game’s privacy policy. Niantic, the app developer with which Nintendo partnered to create Pokemon Go, has confirmed that advertisements are indeed coming to the game.
Unfortunately, this acquirement of “Pokemon GO” has taken its toll. This suggests that, as Niantic said in their statement, the app could only access standard, biographical data such as your phone number and email address. You can do this by going to Settings Security permission to download from “Unknown sources”.

AFP journalists were able to download the game from Apple’s iTunes store and Google’s Play store in Berlin.
