Updated 2016 NCAA Tournament bracket after Virginia advances to Second Round

“I think I just crouched down, was a little dehydrated, got up and blacked out a little bit, but I’m OK”. The Pirates (21-10) will play Virginia in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Virginia coach Tony Bennett was back on the bench to begin the second half after leaving with apparent dehydration near the end of the first half. “But I’m fine”, said Bennett (h/t the Washington Post’s Mark Giannotto).

The top-seeded Virginia Cavaliers begin their NCAA Tournament run for a title today against the Hampton Pirates on the TruTV cable channel and March Madness live streaming. Guards London Perrantes and Malcolm Brogdon added 12 and 11 points, respectively, for the Cavaliers. He was able to return to the court for the second half.

Senior big man Anthony Gill also enjoyed considerable success in the paint, putting up a game-high 19 points and seven rebounds with four assists.
