In June, Tech Times reported some new Google for Education tools to help empower educators and inspire learning in students. We all know that not all the parents have a good opinion about google, as many children spend too many hours in front of their computers. The platform brings together all of Google’s Apps aimed towards education and more to make learning a fun and continuous process.

The company says that these updates sent to parents will be automated, once a teacher invites them.

The day is approaching when students will be back in school and Google has announced some new features for schools that use Google Classroom, to help both children and their parents. This tool will be surely very helpful as it will allow direct communication between the teacher and the parents. Students can now sketch out things like math problems or create visuals to accompany assignments right on their devices, while teachers can go through and mark up homework like they used to do with the dreaded red marker.

With summer vacation coming to an end and schools starting classes, Google for Education has launched several updates to Google Classroom and Google Expeditions. With their teams, they have given students a “portable classroom whiteboard” to sketch and write notes on, whether the students are at home, in class or even on the school bus. If you are a student, you can use the app to show your homework or to write ideas that will help you for your next project. These new Expeditions bring the total number of places to visit to over 200.

In order to make Google Classroom more organized and even easier to use, teachers can now add topics to posts, according to Engadget. Teachers can organize the class stream by adding topics to posts and teachers and students can filter the stream for specific topics.
