UPI/CVoter poll: Hillary Clinton has 2.8-point lead over Donald Trump
The poll also showed a tight Senate race between Democrat Russ Feingold and Republican incumbent Ron Johnson.

Campaign officials announced Thursday that donors contributed about $62 million to her campaign committee and another $81 million to the Democratic National Committee and state parties in August. Clinton is dominating Trump in the number of television ads she’s run, and her early fundraising strength allowed her to reserve air time for the fall at lower rates than Trump will be able to get in the campaign’s final stretch.
Donald Trump promised veterans he would focus on “Americanism, not globalism” as president, contrasting starkly with Democrat Hillary Clinton’s message of global engagement to the American Legion convention the day before. The same poll, done by the Tarrance Group and the NRCC, has Clinton ahead of Trump in this district by 3 points. (His big immigration speech Wednesday was in Phoenix, for example.) Politico’s Gabriel Debenedetti argues that this is precisely what Clinton hopes to do, and it’s working. “They are not a challenge to the two major political parties, they are a pusher”.
Iowa GOP Rep. Rod Blum is one of his party’s most endangered incumbents.
This month, Clinton only leads Trump by two-points in the Fox News Poll.
Clinton has led in almost all recent polls.
House Speaker Paul Ryan’s home state of Wisconsin is home to another race where the GOP candidate is doing far better in the polls than Trump. Clinton leads among white women (45 to 38 percent) and nonwhite voters (70 to 25 percent), and Trump leads with white men (41 to 38 percent).
Voters continue to view Clinton as less trustworthy than Trump, 31-35.
Clinton has also seen her favorable rating in Pennsylvania drop and unfavorable rating increase while Trump’s favorable rating has ticked up and his unfavorable rating has declined, F&M reported. Two years ago, McSally won her Tucson-area seat by just 167 votes following a recount.
Hillary Clinton’s post-convention lead has disappeared, putting her behind Donald Trump for the first time nationally since mid-July. Most were on the West coast, home to Hollywood celebrities and Silicon Valley executives, or in the traditional Democratic donor bastions of MA and NY. That’s much closer than the early August poll, where Feingold led by 11 points among likely voters.
And Clinton bashed Trump for calling the United States military a “disaster”, later adding, “The last thing we need is a president who brings more name-calling and temper tantrums to Washington”.

The minimum contribution required to attend the events varied from $500 to $250,000, with higher contributions equating to more exclusive access.
