Campaign officials announced Thursday that donors contributed about $62 million to her campaign committee and another $81 million to the Democratic National Committee and state parties in August. House Speaker Paul Ryan’s home state of Wisconsin is home to another race where the GOP candidate is doing far better in the polls than Trump. Clinton leads among white women (45 to 38 percent) and nonwhite voters (70 to 25 percent), and Trump leads with white men (41 to 38 percent).
Voters continue to view Clinton as less trustworthy than Trump, 31-35.
Clinton has also seen her favorable rating in Pennsylvania drop and unfavorable rating increase while Trump’s favorable rating has ticked up and his unfavorable rating has declined, F&M reported. Two years ago, McSally won her Tucson-area seat by just 167 votes following a recount.
Hillary Clinton’s post-convention lead has disappeared, putting her behind Donald Trump for the first time nationally since mid-July. The minimum contribution required to attend the events varied from $500 to $250,000, with higher contributions equating to more exclusive access.
