Uproar in Lok Sabha over BJP leader’s controversial ‘fair skin’ comment
The Congress members resorted to vociferous protests throughout the BJP leader’s speech. When Kharge claimed that the country has “two laws” – one for the Opposition and another for the ruling dispensation, Parliamentary Affairs Minister M Venkaiah Naidu said the Congress member can not raise the issue during Question Hour, as it is against the rules.

Leader of Opposition in Lok Sabha, Mallikarjun Kharge, on Tuesday accused the BJP-led NDA Government of following the footsteps of Nazi dictator Adolf Hitler with its repeated attempts to demoralise the innocent and end the Opposition’s role in a democratic country.
He targeted Rahul Gandhi and Jyotiraditya Scindia who were leading the Congress sloganeering in the House and said that while the Congress is talking about the pain of the farmers, their leaders had no knowledge of farming or agriculturists and can not even distinguish between “Bajra, Jowar and Wheat”.
The Rajya Sabha was on Thursday adjourned till 11:30 a.m.as the Congress members continued to protest against the government on the National Herald issue. Another Congress leader, Anand Sharma echoing similar sentiments accused the government of unnecessary targeting the opposition. Agreeing with the stand taken by the TMC leader, Speaker warned Singh that what he said was “wrong”. “We are not against judiciary, we are protesting against your regressive policies”, he said. “You are giving a warning to judiciary through Parliament”.
The Prime Minister was present in the House for most of the Question Hour when Congress members stormed the Well but left before the Zero Hour at 12 pm.
Members of the Congress party trooped into the well of the house and raised slogans against the government.

As Singh kept smiling, Kharge intensified his attack and demanded that the minister be immediately sacked for his “dog” remark after the killing of two Dalit children in Haryana.
