The annual “See You At The Pole” event took place Wednesday around the nation and students throughout Northeast Mississippi led times of worship and prayer at their schools.

The first official event was at 7 a.m. September 12, 1990 and more than 45,000 teenagers in four states participated, according to the website. Others prayed for people injured or ill. We had approximately 75 students, faculty & staff for See You at the Pole!
Jordan Taylor, a senior lineman for the South Side High School football team, has coordinated prayer meetings in the parking lot of the football stadium in the past.
“Oh absolutely I believe God is listening”, he said.
