“I’ve been a fan of Gwen’s since we met in the early days of No Doubt and I’m so excited to announce our collaboration!” I actually used to be a makeup artist.
Refinery 29 has reported that Gwen Stefani is the first celebrity to collaborate with the beauty brand. Literally a shack. And I remember hearing the song ‘I’m Just a Girl, ‘ and she’s on the cover of some local music magazine, and I remember thinking, ‘That girl’s so cool. Here are five things we know about #UDxGwen so far-and some things we’re really, really hoping for.
After dazzling audiences for almost a decade with her pure punk rock vocals and cool-girl style, Gwen Stefani is finally breaking into the beauty biz. We found a true partner in her, and it was incredible to channel her energy and creativity into these products.
Not only will the new make- up range be launched, but the star and the brand have also joined forces to drive a charity organisation, The Ultraviolet Edge, initially brought about by Wende.
Details of the collection are still under wraps, but judging by the sneak peek Urban Decay posted to Instagram, we can expect glittery metallic eye shadows and (of course) an intense red lipstick. And now, with the official announcement of Urban Decay x Gwen Stefani, Wende is once again aiming to inspire women to experiment with their looks the way Gwen has always done. Until now. “It took 19 years, but it happened”, Zomnir says.

In an interview with Stylecaster, Wende revealed that she and Gwen spent four or five months working on the products, and the singer was involved in every step of the process. She carefully crafted each product with Gwen, creating the exact shades she always wished she had in her collection. She’s clearly a cosmetics lover, having gone through multiple makeup makeovers during her career. “We even sat down with the guy who does her makeup all of the time and worked with him”.
