The accusation triggered a sharp response from Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who called Gandhi immature.

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP)-led Delhi Government had questioned the timing of Railways’ action and asked why proper arrangements to rehabilitate the dwellers was not made before their houses were demolished. The death of an infant at the demolition site had caused huge uproar and invited criticism from all quarters.
