Urban Meyer Pulled Out Some Extremely Popular Dance Moves After Fiesta Bowl
Those skills should translate well in the NFL.

Ezekiel Elliott ran for 149 yards and matched a Fiesta Bowl record with four touchdowns, sparking No. 7 Ohio State’s prolific offense in a 44-28 win over Notre Dame in Glendale, Ariz., on Friday. “But when you have a running back as good as he is, I think that’s the dominant force”. They may leave the desert wondering what could have been after blowing past another playoff contender.
Ohio State rolled past the Fighting Irish (10-3), quick-hitting its way to one scoring drive after another and 496 total yards.
Elliott carried nine times for 55 yards.
J.T. Barrett gave the Buckeyes some balance, throwing for 211 yards and a score with 96 yards rushing in the highest-scoring game against Notre Dame’s defense this season. In a flawless world for Rutgers, it may be three or four years before Ash has a defense as talented as the one Ohio State fielded in the Fiesta Bowl.
“We certainly needed to execute better”, Kelly said, “but (I) didn’t feel like we were outmanned”.
It looked like the Buckeyes caught a break when ND All-America linebacker Jaylon Smith left with a knee injury on OSU’s second series, but it all evened out when All-America end Joey Bosa was ejected for targeting minutes later.
While some of Ohio State’s players talked about “next man up” when asked about replacing Bosa, coach Urban Meyer was more anxious about his team going against Notre Dame without Bosa and suspended defensive tackle Adolphus Washington. “You lose a guy like that early on, it significantly affects what you’re doing defensively”.
Did the Buckeyes go into this game looking to make some sort of a statement to the College Football Playoff committee, the doubters and to themselves? “I mean, it will bring a tear to my eye thinking about everything I’ve been through, everything we’ve been through as a team”.
Last year Ohio State lost at home to Virginia Tech, which wasn’t good enough for a bowl.
Smith, the Butkus Award victor as the nation’s best linebacker, had to be helped off four minutes in after suffering an apparent leg injury and did not return. Irish quarterback DeShone Kizer passed for 284 yards and two touchdowns, with an interception, and rushed for another score as Notre Dame (10-3) suffered its second straight loss.
Shortly after, Notre Dame announced that freshman nose guard Jerry Tillery was suspended for the game due to a violation of team rules.
Ohio State led the game 14-7 midway through the second quarter.
“He’s a physical back”. The junior speedster caught a short pass, tip-toed past a would-be tackler and sprinted 81 yards along the right sideline for Notre Dame’s final touchdown of the day. “He did some special things with his feet today”.
Projected as the first pick in the April draft, Bosa responded from the locker room, tweeting, “See you Zeke”, followed by a red heart.
Kevin Hogan threw for three touchdowns and ran for a fourth and Christian McCaffrey contributed two touchdowns to lead sixth-ranked Stanford to a 45-16 rout of No. 5 Iowa in the 102nd Rose Bowl on Friday in front of 94,268. Notre Dame never got closer than 10 points the rest of the way.

Kizer scored on a 1-yard keeper with 29 seconds left in the half to make it 28-14. The Irish scored on their first possession of the third quarter, with receiver Chris Brown’s 4-yard reception capping a 58-yard drive to trim the deficit to 28-21 at the 8:58 mark in the period. The Buckeyes seven appearances in the Fiesta Bowl are more than any other team.
