Uri attack ‘a reaction to atrocities’ in Kashmir: Nawaz Sharif
Earlier this week, amid calls that the government should scrap the water distribution pact after Pakistan based terrorists attacked an army base in Uri, the centre said that “mutual trust and cooperation” was necessary to continue any such treaty.

Sharif also wondered how India had hurled accusations against Pakistan only hours after the Uri incident without holding any inquiry or investigation.
The speakers in their addresses hailed the speech of Pakistan Prime Minister, Mohammad Nawaz Sharif, he delivered at the United Nations General Assembly recently.
This petition comes days after Congressman Ted Poe, Chairman of the House Subcommittee on Terrorism, and Congressman Dana Rohrabacher introduced HR 6069, the Pakistan State Sponsor of Terrorism Designation Act, in the House of Representatives. This is the only country engaged in exporting terror across the world.
He said Pakistani leaders had been talking of a “thousand years’ war” with India.
Speaking with vigour, Modi said, “India has never bowed down to terrorism in the past and will strive to defeat it”.
PM Modi also slammed Pakistan saying that the country can not handle PoK, Gilgit and Balochistan, which are already under it’s control. “Humanitarians all over the world have to unite and condemn terror”, he said. He said that Pakistan even sells small weapons to many countries including the United States and Germany.
Some citizens say being pragmatic is the key, but if the threat hurts Pakistan more than India, it’s time to take the plunge. “Let me tell you that there is a government in Delhi that accepts your challenge”.
He asked: “If Pakistan can violate such agreements, why should we honour such treaties?” If you have the courage then why not fight to end poverty, unemployment, illiteracy.
