US actor Charlie Sheen reveals he is HIV positive
Actor Charlie Sheen revealed on Tuesday that he’s HIV-positive and confessed that he’s been paying “millions” to keep his condition secret.

The star told Today host Matt Lauer that he was diagnosed four years ago when he was very ill and thought he had a brain tumour.
“I’ve known about this a long time, it’s not a surprise to me”, Bragman said of Sheen’s condition.
Sheen was first diagnosed with HIV four years ago. In one instance, a prostitute took photos of his antiretroviral medications and threatened to sell the images.
Since the diagnosis, Sheen said he had been truthful with partners about his HIV status and used condoms. He insisted that it was “impossible” that he could have transmitted the virus to someone else since his diagnosis, while acknowledging that he had unprotected sex during that time with two people.
Today, Sheen said he wished he could blame the episode on his HIV diagnosis, but said that it was “more roid rage”. In an interview with his doctor, Charlie said that he has stopped doing drugs since then but does still drink.
He said: “I told enough people that I trusted, to be in the position and the situation that I am in today”.
Terrorists wage a deadly strike at Paris, an ISIS suspect is on the loose, a refugee crisis continues, USA political campaigns forge ahead, a blizzard disrupts routine in Denver… and we’re supposed to care about Charlie Sheen?
Sheen rose to fame in films such as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Wall Street and was once the highest paid actor on television for Two And A Half Men.
Is Charlie Sheen HIV-positive?
Sheen’s physician, Dr. Robert Huizenga, appeared on “Today” and said the drugs have suppressed the virus. The final part of the interview saw Sheen talk about his children and ex-wives, as well as continued threats of legal action from former partners, which he acknowledged were a possibility.
He and actress Denise Richards were married from 2002-2006 and have two daughters. “I’ve paid those people – not that many”.

Sheen’s most recent show, “Anger Management”, went off the air previous year.
