According to a release issued by the Punjab government, the British High Commissioner said, “Like other countries, Britain also wants easing of tension between Pakistan and India”.

The Prime Minister said he can see a lot of potential to make sure that the 21st century becomes Asia’s 21st century, adding that all the countries in Asia are working for it, except one.

At some point, Modi may also touch upon the Balochistan issue, what with Baloch Republican Party president Brahumdagh Bugti applying for asylum in India. “It will pause only after defeating it”, he said.

The spokesperson said the atrocities had intensified since the extra-judicial killing of Kashmiri youth leader Burhan Muzaffar Wani in July this year. This is the only country engaged in exporting terror across the world.

Modi said there were 17 attempts by fidayen attackers sent by the neighbouring country which have been defeated by courageous Indian soldiers who have neutralised over 110 terrorists which is the highest in recent years.

“Terrorism is enemy of humanity. Humanitarians all over the world have to unite and condemn terror”, he said. “We are proud of our army”, the Prime Minister said. Modi had launched a blistering attack on Pakistan on Saturday in his first public address after last Sunday’s deadly attack.

The Congress leader also took a dig at Modi for his alleged failure in keeping the promises he had made to the people of Kerala during his earlier visits to the state.

In his 35-minute broadcast, the Prime Minister also wanted to specially “speak” to the people of Kashmir. Kumar said the issues of confrontation with Pakistan have to be resolved by us and there’s no point in expecting the U.S. and China will resolve them.

“I accept this challenge. So, I am of the view that whatever suggestions he is giving to Pakistan, he should himself ponder over it and focus on action against Pakistan”, Indian news wire service, ANI, quoted the Congress leader as saying. If you have the courage then why not fight to end poverty, unemployment, illiteracy.
