US drone kills seven in North Waziristan

At least four suspected militants were killed in an alleged U.S. drone strike in Pakistan’s North Waziristan tribal region on Thursday, a Pakistani army official said.

North Waziristan has been a hub for Al-Qaeda, IMU, and Taliban militants who fled there in the early 2000s after Afghanistan’s Taliban regime was toppled in late 2001.

The centre was levelled to ground, following the attack and the residents pulled the bodies of the killed people from the debris.

Media studies stated that each one the 5 deceased belonged to the Haqqani community who have been focused throughout a gathering. 5 persons have been reported to have died due to the attack.
