US Election Media Coverage Biased Toward Clinton
Trump headed to flood-damaged Louisiana to express solidarity with residents cleaning up after devastating flooding that left at least 13 people dead. He appeared to suggest gun violence against Democrat Hillary Clinton or her potential Supreme Court picks.

The typically brash and spotlight-seeking billionaire offered notably restrained remarks as he surveyed the waterlogged wreckage. “It’s really incredible, so I’m just here to help”.
New campaign documents show Trump’s campaign spent $18.5 million in July, more than double its expenditures a month earlier.
But Trump-allied Republicans saw the latest shakeup as a reason to believe that Trump was serious about eliminating distractions that threatened his chances, like scrutiny of Manafort’s work for pro-Russian politicians in Ukraine.
Those revelations included an Associated Press report from Thursday, which revealed Manafort’s firm orchestrated a covert US lobbying operation on the party’s behalf.
The campaign paid Trump Organization employee Meredith McIver, who has worked as a Trump ghostwriter over the years.
Trump has relied heavily on the Republican National Committee for conventional campaign infrastructure.
Hillary Clinton can’t seem to escape her use of a private email server as she runs for president. Mercer was a major funder of Ted Cruz, Trump’s toughest opponent in the long primary race.
But the Clinton camp also found itself on the defensive for the first time in weeks. Now people are told to stop complaining when candidates such as Hillary Clinton tell the gilded few what she and they don’t want many of us to hear.
In a clear swipe at her rival, Clinton added: “The relief effort can’t afford any distractions”.
“This new team will be very, very aggressive”. He delivered three formal speeches in a row, unheard of for a candidate who prefers unscripted rallies. Throw in majority religion, and Trump does even better.
In East Baton Rouge Parish, residents emerged from their waterlogged homes to wave at Trump’s motorcade, some with gloved hands dirty from their house-gutting work.
“We knew you would be here for us!” another volunteer shouted.
“Thank you for coming, Mr. Trump”, one woman screamed. Voters also give her higher marks on her readiness for the White House and handling of foreign policy. Aides have noted Obama is receiving regular updates on the conditions.
Throughout his campaign for the GOP nomination and beyond, Trump has touted his own wealth as one of his great strengths in campaigning.
A campaign that Republican leaders have been praying will soften its rhetoric is now led by Stephen K. Bannon, the chief of the scorched-earth Breitbart News.
Trump made his first ad buy a few days ago, for almost $5 million in commercials to air across Florida, Ohio, Pennsylvania and North Carolina. “But she is totally without remorse”, Trump alleged at an election rally in MI.
The ad airs in several states, not just OH, but in the ultimate swing state, such a message may appeal to Trump’s working-class voters, while the state has comparatively fewer Latinos to be alienated by the commercial.
Starting in the 1960s, the party of Lincoln – the party that under Dwight Eisenhower in the 1950s had been advancing civil rights for African-Americans – began a concerted effort to supplant the Democrats as the party of relatively traditionalist whites.
“Tonight, I’m asking for the vote of every single African-American citizen in this country who wants to see a better future”, Trump told the crowd.
On Twitter, the Clinton campaign responded, “This is so ignorant it’s staggering”.
“Voters we hear from understand that Hillary Clinton represents a third Obama term while the Trump-Pence campaign of tougher law enforcement, stopping illegal immigration and bringing back jobs is resonating strongly across the state”, said Bob Paduchik, Trump’s campaign chief in OH, in a statement.
In 2012, Republican nominee Mitt Romney won only six per cent of the black vote.

He did it in Charlotte Thursday night, delivering a very public – if equally vague – acknowledgment of any “personal pain” caused by his past words.
