To the Korean Peninsula now and the United States air force conducted a second flyover of South Korea on Wednesday.

“The alliance grows stronger every day and we remain prepared to defend and to preserve the security of the Korean Peninsula and the region”.

North Korea has conducted five nuclear warhead tests this year, with the last coming on September 9. The sweep-wing Cold War-era bomber, capable of reaching speeds near 1,000 miles per hour, was originally created to deliver nuclear bombs but has since been reconfigured to drop conventional weapons.

Meanwhile, foreign ministers from the US, Japan and South Korea released a joint statement on the North Korean nuclear issue in NY ahead of the United Nations meetings.

In military alliance with the USA forces, Seoul also has the Kill Chain system by which it will pre-emptively hit missile-related facilities following signs of imminent missile attacks from the North.

One of the fundamental questions: How much of a threat does North Korea actually pose to South Korea? It was reported that the U.S. military had mulled sending the more advanced B-2 bomber, in light of growing threats from North Korea.

The exercise would focus on training the allies’ naval forces in joint precision attacks on the North’s military facilities and the regime’s leadership that would be launched in the event of a war with the isolated state.

Kim declared himself delighted with the rocket engine test details of which were released this week by state media
