US gymnast Simone Biles flips and flies to Olympic all-around gold
She celebrated with teammate Aly Raisman, who finished with a silver medal with a score of 60.098. I feel like I did my job tonight’.

Following Biles’ impressive gold medal win at last night’s All-Around at the Olympic Games in Rio, we’re sharing key details about her wealth.
The unbeatable 19-year-old, who had already led the United States of America to team victory earlier in the week, beat her fellow U.S. competitor Alexandra Raisman by more than two points. The 19-year-old had to give up normal schooling and get homeschooled in order to better manage her gymnastics training.
Simone, of course, is a showstopper, doing more hard flips, twists, and tumble passes quicker and higher than her competition. Raisman finished 1.433 ahead of Mustafina for second, nearly as dominating of a victory as Biles in first.
Lest anyone think she was not human, she put that idea to rest.
In Lochte’s only individual swim in the summer games, Phelps surged to victory and the gold medal, becoming the only swimmer to win four consecutive gold medals in the same Olympic event. Her lead was more than a point and a half.
“It was a very heartbreaking but I just used it for motivation every single day in the gym”, Raisman said Friday. I finally did it. Joyful and defying gravity, she earned a soaring score of 15.933.
Some of her fellow competitors believe thats exactly where the 4-foot-8 dynamo is heading.
Raisman said she couldn’t help get overwhelmed by emotion after finishing, particularly after hearing cheers from the crowd.
“I just wanted to go out there and believe in my abilities and use the talent that I was given”, she said.
Raisman, who finished behind Biles in the all-around to clinch individual silver, was part of the squad that won the team gold in London in 2012 and remembers the whirlwind of attention that followed.
It was also the first time since 1992 that both the men’s and women’s all around champions were members of the gold medal team at the same Olympics.
Her interest in gymnastics took hold 13 years ago. Nevriye Yilmaz led the Turks in scoring with 26 points.
Is Raisman concerned about being overshadowed by Biles?
But Mustafina struggled on beam, teetering twice and taking a step on her dismount. There are only so many gold medals handed out in her sport and careers in gymnastics are usually limited to one Olympics, perhaps two at best. So for the first time, Fiji’s national anthem was played during the Olympics.

Her remark about her patron saint was part of a list in an August 9 article about Biles posted by the magazine online with the headline, “25 Things You Don’t Know About Me”. “But she was a little bit out of control. Her, no. She makes her mind up and that’s it”. The question was posed twice more, in slightly different ways, and she deflected it twice more.
