US honors its military on Veterans Day
Thomas Brown, Senior Vice Commander of the VFW in Pennsylvania, believe young people understand the sacrifices made by those who served this country. The parade began with the laying of wreaths at the Eternal Light Monument in Madison Square Park where several generations of veterans somberly gathered. Major General Baker said they’ll be sure to prominently display it for everyone to see. “I saw it was available, and we had a conversation”, Lenz said. When I came home they didn’t nobody said anything. Veterans from World War Two, Vietnam, Korea and those who more recently served listened to patriotic music and were acknowledge during the ceremony at Veterans Auditorium.

On Wednesday, Barren County held Veteran’s Day programs at many of their schools in honor of our military.
The Springfield parade and ceremony featured the 2015 Springfield Veteran of the Year Col. John J. Driscoll and parade marshal Paul Barabani.
“It’s important for him and my daughter to learn what a veteran is and that we have one at home”.
“It’s the turn of the Vietnam veterans to have a chance to be appreciated for the work that they’ve done”, said Martin Agee, who helps coordinate the parade for the council.

It was a cold and misty day in the capital city, but that didn’t stop dedicated veterans from marching three miles this morning.

In Salisbury, community members took their time to celebrate veterans in front of the Wicomico County War Museum on Wednesday in honor of Veterans Day. “Our nation owes a great debt of gratitude to its veterans, whose service spans every decade and continues everyday of our nation’s existence”, he said.
