A victim of the Tennessee shooting spree has died, taking the death toll to five. It is not unusual for federal agents to temporarily detain individuals found at a location where there is potential evidence in a criminal investigation.
Flags were lowered to half-staff outside City Hall, and city spokesman James Leydon said Sullivan’s family is “still trying to come to terms with it all”.

An official familiar with the investigation said the alleged gunman went to shooting ranges repeatedly before Thursday’s attack to fire handguns and rifles.

Department of Homeland security officials say that the motivations of Abdulazeez for the shooting are still unclear but that the FBI is investigating the incident as an “act of domestic terrorism”. Rasmia Abdulazeez was seeking custody of the couple’s minor children because, according to her, she did not work and her husband only gave her a few dollars a week.
An unnamed federal official told the Associated Press news agency this was because Abdulazeez had failed a drug test.
Family and friends of one of the Marines slain in Tennessee are planning a memorial service at the high school he attended in metro Atlanta. Officials have said they have disrupted several such lone-wolf plots.
Wells grew up in Marietta, Georgia and studied history at Georgia Southern University before joining the military.
The Navy said he died at 2:17 a.m.
The four Marines killed in the attack have been identified as Carson Holmquist, Thomas Sullivan, Skip Wells and David Wyatt.
She learned his fate on Friday.
The Chattanooga shooting saw four Marines killed, and it appears that a military recruiting station and a Naval reserve office were the prime targets in this case.
